Thank you for your interest in joining us at one or more of the 2020 Final Friday’s in Parkesburg PA!

All fees are non-refundable.  No refunds will be given in the event of a cancellation; whether on behalf of the Vendor or the Parkesburg Action Committee due to severe/dangerous weather conditions.

Please note: Food vendor fees must be paid in full by the 5th of the month to receive free advertising.

The fee is $40 per month.  Required paperwork:  a copy of your 2020 Chester County Food Handler's license, Final Friday Parkesburg Vendor Form and a copy of your food truck's liability insurance listing The Borough of Parkesburg, 315 W. First Avenue, Parkesburg, PA  19365 as an additional insured.  These forms must be received via email and/or mail by the fifth (5th) of the month you are scheduled.  If these forms are not received by that date, your money will be refunded.

 

Vendor Instructions

Please share our Facebook Invite! (and RSVP on your personal pages so it shows up there, too) if you haven't already.

Please read all of the load in/load out instructions below!

Load In:

  • The road will be closing at 4:00PM.

  • You are more than welcome to come and start setting up as early as 4pm, (NOT BEFORE) however you will need to set up on the sidewalk and then move your tables out into the street once we are officially closed to traffic.

  • When arriving, please look for our vendor load in volunteer on the sidewalk and they will tell you where your space is.

  • Spaces are first come, first served. (a few are reserved due to special requirements)

  • Each space is 10ft x 10ft. Please parallel park and unload your things onto the sidewalk.

  • You may then park your car outside of the event location.

  • DO NOT PARK IN ROCCO & ANNA’S PARKING LOT

  • Street parking is available further down Main Street (away from rt 10).

If you plan to arrive after 4:30pm you will need to enter from the rt 10 end of Main Street. The road will be closed and you will need to speak with security to get in and you must carry/walk into event.

Load Out:

  • When the event closes at 9pm (April through August) or 8pm (September and October), please break down everything and put it on the sidewalk behind your space.

  • You may THEN get your car, parallel park and load out.

  • Please do not pull in and begin unloading until all of your things are on the sidewalk.

  • We need to keep the street open for vendors and our clean up team to come and go as needed.

During load out the road will be ONE-WAY to keep things safe and flowing easily for vendor traffic. Please only enter from the Rt 10 end of Main Street to come through and load out!

Please no early breaking down.

Each vendor is expected to stay fully set up until 9pm (April through August) or 8pm (September and October).

Please clean up trash from your space. Trash cans are provided on the street.

Please bring your tents if you have them and Tent Weights.

The tent weights are mandatory.

We recommend this kind of weight.

Gallon bottles filled with water or other makeshift weights will not be accepted as they do not hold down a tent in a gust of wind. The weights keep everyone's tent down and keep us and our visitors safe. Anyone without appropriate tent weights will have to take their tent down. 

Later in the season, it gets dark before the end of the event. We highly recommend bringing some sort of lighting for your space. Battery operated string lights or LED puck lights or lanterns work well to illuminate your space and to make packing up easy at the end of the event.**

Although our event is rain or shine, if there is a chance of dangerous weather, we may be required to cancel. This cancellation would be announced in the Facebook event and through an email to participating vendors. This call would be made by 2pm on the day of the event.

This is a rain or shine event. In the event that it might rain, we recommend the following ways to keep your area and products dry:

  • If you have a tent that has sides, bring them. You can always tie them back.
  • Plastic to cover your tables. Plastic table cloths, clear shower curtains, etc.
  • Keeping items in plastic totes, under the table, up off the wet ground.
